Environmental Management ISO 14001Almeda Facilities are accredited by the International Standards Organisation for Environmental Management (ISO 14001). Almeda regards the promotion of environmental management measures as a mutual objective for management and employees at all levels. Almeda will do all that is reasonable to ensure that any/all environmental issues are assessed and reviewed relating to the services, processes, purchasing, waste, site locations and employees, including; Air Quality, Hazardous Substances, Nuisance, Waste, Water, Electrical Equipment, Nature Conservation and Transportation. Almeda are committed to: - Complying with all relevant legislation and the prevention of pollution,
- Setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets, as well as this policy,
- Reviewing the company environmental policy on an annual basis,
- Providing, updating and maintaining information and records to monitor the company’s progress,
- Providing training and instructions to enable employees to perform their duties efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner,
- Maintaining a constant and continuing interest in environmental management matters applicable to the companies activities,
- Making the policy available to the public and all interested parties i.e. subcontractors,
- Continuous environmental improvements.
