The facilities strategy determines how a facility should be operated - Almeda is the organisation responsible for the transition of the strategy from theory into practice and this applies to both new and existing organisations and establishments. For new, the strategy is about bringing the facility to life and making it work. For existing, this is about understanding what is happening now and determining how the facility should be managed in the future. The strategy and policy will include some or all of the following; structures, premises, standards of performance, methods of service delivery, supplier management, statutory and legislative compliance, capital and operational cost definition and control.
