The team from Almeda attended the IoD South West flagship Entrepreneurs Dinner and 2016 Director of the Year Awards last night at the newly refurbished Heineken Lounge at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.
The IoD South West Entrepreneurs Celebration and Director of the Year Awards showcased and presented awards recognising and celebrating the successes of Directors, entrepreneurs and other leaders from around the region as selected by a prestigious panel of judges.
Delighted with winning Corporate Responsibility Award
Almeda were absolutely thrilled to be awarded the IoD South West Corporate Responsibility Award following our passionate work with those around us, from the community to charities and environmental projects, following tough competition from other fantastic organisations across the region.
This award recognises organisations who are able to demonstrate that, through direct actions and leadership, their business has made a positive impact on the local community, wider society and/or the environment.
Managing Director Brady George and Executive Assistant Louise Coles took to the stage to be congratulated by Regional Chairman Nick Sturge and receive this esteemed accolade.
We want to thank all of those involved for their support in reaching this milestone, and wish to congratulate all other finalists and winners for their hard work and incredible efforts.
We were absolutely delighted for our Managing Director Brady George to also be shortlisted for Young Director of the Year at the Institute of Directors, following his success in 2015 in being awarded Rising Star of the Year at the Business Leader Awards.
Shortlisted for Bristol Post Awards
Almeda are also overjoyed at being shortlisted for Customer Service Award and Family Business of the Year Award at the 2016 Bristol Post Awards taking place later this month.
