The Go Green 2016 Awards celebrates those businesses that are doing their bit for the environment. It aims to maintain the legacy of sustainability that helped Bristol to become European Green Capital in 2015.
Almeda is proud to sponsor one of the awards and share its promotion of sustainable businesses.
A glamorous evening to celebrate ‘Green’ businesses
The Bristol Hotel will play host to the celebratory event taking place on the evening of Thursday 18th March 2016. 13 awards will be presented to those businesses that have achieved across Go Green’s five key themes: Planning and Resilience, Travel and Transport, Energy and Efficiency, Sustainable Sourcing and Happy and Healthy living.
Almeda will be sponsoring ‘The Driving Force’ award. This award recognises green or wellbeing champions (a team or an individual) who have demonstrated a driving force behind their company’s most significant green changes in the past year.
Role models for sustainable enterprise
Almeda are well known in the industry for our dedication to sustainability. We care as much about the environment as people. It’s no wonder that the success of our business is based on creating spaces that people can enjoy for years to come without negatively impacting on the environment.
It is the way that we enhance commercial environments without impacting the natural environment that makes us a viable sponsor for a Go Green award.
Enhance your business with sustainable facilities management
Since the launch of Go Green last year, over 1,000 businesses have joined the scheme, engaging in 27 events over 2015. Similar to those businesses involved in Go Green, you can make giant leaps to improve your businesses green credentials with the help of Almeda and our sustainable facilities management services.
We are so keen to maintain Bristol’s green legacy that we offer sustainable facilities management. We want to make all of our customers aware of their environmental responsibility. We do this by offering a range of environmental services, including carbon reduction solutions, energy expenditure plans and waste management.
It is no coincidence that Bristol was 2015’s European Green Capital and that Almeda provide facilities management for some of the city’s most prestigious buildings. We improve the sustainability of commercial properties such as the SS Great Britain, Arnolfini and Watershed and can optimise yours too, wherever you are based in the UK.
