Ben Arbery joins Almeda

Almeda has welcomed Ben Arbery, 42, to the team, who joins as Associate Director. He will work alongside Brady George, who recently took over from his father Gary as Managing Director.

Ben spent fifteen years working within the financial services industry, initially as a financial adviser and mortgage broker and latterly as a financial services assessor. He worked for a host of companies including John Charcol and the Cooperative. Previous to this he worked as an electrician, in the industrial sector.

In his new role Ben will be responsible for working with existing clients, developing new business and helping the senior team to take advantage of new commercial opportunities.

Proud to join the Almeda team

Despite only being a couple of weeks into the job, Ben has already been impressed by our influence in the city.

He comments: “In my first week I met with the team at the Arnolfini, a building that Almeda manage, and I was so energised about the positive things they had to say about us and the difference we are making.”

Ben also says it was our burgeoning reputation as a pioneering business that influenced him to join.

He comments: “I’d heard so many good things about Almeda and how they are pioneering a new way of business, focusing on people and the planet as well as profits. It’s a happy place to be; a business that invests in its staff and creates a culture and movement for change and social responsibility. It’s committed to being the best and I’m excited to be a part of shaping Almeda’s future.”

Brady says that together with his management team, he spent months talking to Ben about taking on the role.

He comments: “Myself and Gary knew Ben previously and thought he would be ideal for the role of Associate Director and fully aligned to the Almeda mission. He adds a wealth of experience and will prove to be a senior appointment that makes a huge difference to the business.”
